Free Magento Wireframes

Calling all Magento web developers.

Designing for Magento takes time and the best designs start with a good plan. To give you a head start we have created a set of Magento Wireframes using the Balsamiq wireframing tool. In order to open or edit the wireframes you will need to download a copy of Balsamiq (which is awesome!)… and that’s it!

The wireframes zip includes a wireframe of the default Magento templates which you can use as a base for your custom Magento design. The zip includes:

Home Page
Product Category Page
Product Page
Cart Page
Checkout Page
My Account Page

You can download the zip for free by just giving a tweet (or a facebook message)

Great stuff. We also use Balsamiq during pre-design to help cover all the different arrangements of pricing (specials, grouped, configurables etc) and then upsells, cross-sells. It forces the designer to incorporate these into the designs and allow appropriate spacing for them.
