The Brief

Bridgman needed to update their site and needed something that delivers simple, effective ways of buying luxury garden and interior furniture. Some products had to be adaptive to allow the customer to make choices, such as changing the colour of cushion etc. Our challenge was to create the perfect blend of design richness and simple, user-friendly practicality.
The Solution

Bridgman’s existing website had proved successful, but its capabilities were limited. The company wished to make its entire range of products available online. It wanted to help its customers find local retailers of its furniture more easily. And it wanted to communicate its rich family heritage - and its plans for the future - more effectively. NuBlue’s challenge was to capture the spirit of Bridgman in an e-commerce site built to take the business forward.
The Result

Bridgman’s new site is achieving all its main objectives. The improved user interface and streamlined purchasing process have delivered increased traffic and sales. The ‘find a retailer’ section has meant more people can find and try Bridgman’s furniture. The improved navigation and intuitive design has, appropriately enough for a business based on comfort, made the user experience simple and stress-free. Life is easier too for Bridgman’s in-house team. Updating and managing their online information is easy, which keeps them in control of their site, and keeps costs down. Most excitingly, the site is ready for whatever Bridgman does next – with the flexibility to accommodate and communicate future developments.
