For 25 years Frost Auto Restoration has been the natural home for anyone wishing to repair or restore their classic or vintage car or motorcycle. Frost asked NuBlue to create new branding and a website befitting the UK’s leading supplier of everything for the automotive enthusiast.

The Brief

Frost wanted a site built on the Magento platform that would allow orders to be processed swiftly and effectively. The site would need to provide a pool of information for those wishing to carry out their own repair or renovation projects. It should also help Frost engage with its dedicated and knowledgeable clientele. The branding needed to reflect the heritage of the business - and that of its subject matter - in a contemporary way; to celebrate the past, without living in it.
The Solution

We designed and implemented a bespoke Magento site with integrated MOM (mail order manager). The MOM would allow Frost to process orders more efficiently and effectively. For customers, a postcode lookup facility would help speed up the checkout process, making buying easier and faster. A series of downloadable product PDF’s would help customers use or install their products. Finally, a newsletter signup and data capture system would ensure customer details could be used in marketing activities.
The Result

The new site has resulted in an increase in the number of daily orders. Average order value has also risen and the integrated MOM software has allowed Frost to realise huge time savings on its internal administration processes. The newsletter signup and data capture means Frost can engage with its community of automotive enthusiasts in a controlled, effective way.
