Jeremy Tankard Typography
The Typography.net website showcases and sells the work of Jeremy Tankard, a talented and well known typographer. Jeremy wanted to keep the design and structure of his previous site, but be able to manage all the website content and purchases through one easy to use content management system.
I initially brought my website to NuBlue to develop its existing e-commerce functionality and to add CMS versatility. Since then there has been many regular developments – be they required by law such as the VAT change and gathering European VAT numbers for building the quarterly European Sales List; or adding bespoke functionality and new pages.
Its an ongoing process and I'm looking forward to developing the site with NuBlue as it evolves.
The idea was to provide all the functionality of his previous site (such as online and corporate purchases, lots of information and integrated downloads), yet keep the site easy to update and control.
At first glance the Typography.net website is easy to navigate, and provides lots of information in a manner that is easy to digest. One off customers can buy fonts online and download their purchases securely, whilst corporate customers can login to their own special area to purchase typefaces at special rates.
Working closely with Jeremy, we created a clean and simple system that provides e-commerce and content management functionality, and is easy to update – removing the complexity of running an online store.
