Norbrook
Norbrook is the only home-grown British pharmaceutical company. A true innovator, Norbrook is dedicated to the pioneering research and development of specialist veterinary and animal health products. It turned to NuBlue to help it create a website consistent with its heritage, eminence and brand values.

The Brief
The new website needed to be content managed with a categorised product database. It needed the ability to support multiple websites in multiple languages. And Norbrook also wanted to develop a social media presence through Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to help it build engagement with communities of vets and other product and service users.

The Solution
5 branded websites would target 5 key Norbrook services, giving each a clear identity and the space to breathe, distinct from other products and services. The sites would integrate social media, and be controlled through a single, simple to manage multi-site, multi-country content management system. Site performance would be monitored online using integrated Google Analytics tracking, giving Norbrook a wealth of data on its users’ habits and informing further content development. Data capture though newsletter registration would give Norbrook the capacity to develop its marketing while an integrated marketing systems suite would ensure the data was used to its best effect. The suite would also include an email marketing tool, video webinar (virtual meeting) tool and an online survey tool.

The Result
Since the new website went live Norbrook has seen a dramatic increase in website visitors from the search engine friendly product pages. Norbrook has also been able to grow its online database of customers through the newsletter signup form. It is developing its social media presence through the platforms integrated into the site. The online product database we developed, which works so well on the website, will also be used for future Smartphone application development.

Despite posing many challenges as a project, the final result is a heavily content managed and scalable solution which will provide a scalable platform for Norbrook as they continue to expand there presence around the world.
