Hey, does anyone who is familiar with Interspire know how to delete Categories without deleting the stock (products) within the category?????

I cannot find anything online, it suggests bulk edit but I do not have this feature, could anyone shed some light on this problem.

Hi,

The quickest, easiest (and dirtiest) solution here is to bulk edit all your products out of the category you wish to delete manually within the database, then you can delete the category as normal.

If you are planning on transferring the products to different categories then either you will need to change them all manually via the Interspire admin panel, or you will need to edit your original import with the new categories and reimport.

If you delete a categroy in Interspire then it will delete all the products within it. If you want to remove the category but keep the products then you must assign the products to a new category first.

Bulk editing of products is available but only with the Interspire Ultimate Edition.
