Hello,

I have installed magento this afternoon on a test domain and for some reason the site only resolves when I leave the www off. Also I can't access the admin section of magento. Have I done something wrong? Any help would be great.

I would suggest that you make sure the www. option for the webspace is enabled in the control panel domain admistrator. Hope this helps

Hi Zordani,

make sure that the admin path for the magento admin is www.domain name/site_admin (that's the default for the installer).  You can find a lot of Magento's URL settings in the database - open phpMyAdmin, click on the database, and search for URL.  It should be listed under the table core_config_data.

Ha! Thanks Marcie I didn't notice the admin path setting in the your 1 Click Installer. Its clear as day now though lol! Thanks for your help big_smile
