Hey

I'm trying to decide what domain to use for my new business and was wondering whether to get a .com or a .uk domain. Does anyone have any advice on which would be better?  Also, what about any of the other extensions, like .net?

Hey Keefie,

I think it's kinda a personal thing. Lots of peps will prob suggest lots of different answers/opinions but at the end of the day its really down to personal preference. I don't really think it matters but that's just my opinion smile

Although, as Twlight said .com, ac.uk, .net, .org etc is a question of personal preference, as a general rule of thumb if your website is for UK customers you should probably use the .uk domain, International customers would probably respond better to a .com.  Other extensions have their merits but a .com is the most widely recognised domain, and anyone on the Internet is likely to know their own countries domain extension.
