Hi,
I have had my website hosted with Nublue for nearly a year and a half and I want to move my site to another hosting company.  They want to nearly double my monthly payments in the new year.  I found a company called Evohosting which seems to provide a much better service for a lot less money.

Does anyone else feel they are being ripped off by Nublue ? Does anyone else have experience of Evohosting (and how I would go about transferring my website).

Hi Bhavin,

I feel the same way, great company who have just priced themselves out of the market? What is more disappointing is the 'we don't care if you want to go elsewhere' attitude.

I am looking at http://www.uk2.net/reseller-hosting/ it's just a massive pain moving hosts without business interruption which I guess NuBlue are banking on.

Hi,

Can you confirm we are currently on your Complete Reseller package with 10GB for ?19.99 p/m and the replacement package will be R5 with 8GB for ?29.99 p/m, no more domains will be available but for some reason a whopping 60 more databases are? Doesn't seem like progress?

Darren

Just want to chip in my views on this one. I have experience of working with both of the companies you mention (UK2 and EVO) and I certainly wouldn't choose them over NuBlue.

The worth of a hosting company comes down to a lot more than price. The level of customer service and support NuBlue provide is far far higher than most hosting companies and at least in my opinion that is well worth paying a bit more.

Being able to rely on them to deal with a support issue promptly and competently reduces the stress as well as the number of hours I have to spend on support. In this way they work out a lot cheaper than most companies once you factor in your own time dealing with problems.

The only way companies like UK2 work out cheaper is if you don't place any value on your own time.
