Hi

I need to change the domain details for some domains that come up on the whois look up or make them private.

Does anyone know how to do this? Any help or information would be great
Thanks

Hi,

this can be done directly with nominet (for about a ?10 for the change of admin details). If you get in contact with them they'll be able to give you exact prices etc. Please see below for website link

Hi

How do I make a MX record change for multiple domains? I'm fairly new to all this stuff and some advice/ help would be great before I end up doing the wrong thing and probably breaking my site lol

Hi,

many apologies for the late reply, it's been a very busy day. In terms of making a Mx record change, you can do this via your Hosting Control Panel.

Login  navigate to Home or Domains then to the_domain.com and then DNS Settings. In this screen there is a list of DNS records, click on the MX record (it'll be mail.the_domain.com), change it what you require and then click OK.

You will then need to click on "Update" on the main DNS Settings screen (It assumes you'll be changing a number of DNS records at once so does not push through changes automatically). This can then be repeated for the other domain/s.

Hope this helps and any further problem, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards, Ewan
