Hi Guys,

Just a quick question, our stats page used to be protected, but now it's not. I'm not sure if this is due to something we've done  or  it happened since the move to VPS. I know how to protect a directory, but I can't find the right directory to protect. Can anyone give me a hint?

I know it's the weekend so there's no urgenecy, just thought better mention it why I remember. Thanks

Hi KoT,

Its unusual for a migration to result in this, but its easily fixed.  Whilst the webstats page is simply a password protected aliases directory, its not a good idea to manipulate its setting within the Protected Directories option of Magento.

You can enable or disable (or reenable!) the password protection by logging into your control panel, navigating to the relevant domain and clicking on the "Setup" button.

If you then scroll down to near the bottom of the page, you're looking to put a tick in the checkbox at the end of the following line :

You can then access the webstats via either of the following two URLs :

http://your_domain.name.com/plesk-stat
http://your_domain.name.com/webstat
