Hi, I have a client who's Interspire ecommerce site is currently hosted elsewhere on a shared hosting plan that's running CPanel.

Would it be a simple task to transfer the site over to your Plesk shared server? I know CPanel to Cpanel is fairly  straightforward, but haven't had to move a site from CPanel to Plesk before..

TIA

If it wasn't on shared hosting, and you had SSH access, then Plesk and CPanel can communicate to each other and we could migrate it over quite easily.

As it stands, the only way to move the site over would be 'manually', luckily CPanel has quite a good backup facility.  You can either make a single, full backup, or seperate backups of the database and the webspace.

You should then purchase the Hosting, upload the backups, and we will handle the rest for you; if you prefer, you could provide us with your CPanel logins (not on the forum of course!) and we could make the backups and handle the move for you.  We're always happy to move existing stores for new clients!

The short answer then, is that no, it's not difficult... it will however be time consuming, and the bigger (or older) the store, the longer it will take!
