Before you can use your hosting, you will have to create web space.  Web space allows you to upload the files, folders, and / or databases for your website, as well as set up email accounts, manipulate DNS records, run backups and more.

To use your web space, you will normally have a domain name that you wish to use for hosting.  You will need to have updated the DNS to point to your server, and you will need to log in to your Hosting Control panel.

The exact method for creating web space will depend on what version of Plesk is running on your server!  To find out what version you are using, look in the top left of your Navigation bar; under the ?General? tab, if you have two options ? ?Desktop? & ?Home? ? follow the Plesk 8.x guide.  If you have three options ? ?Home?, ?Domains? & ?Mail?, you will need to follow the Plesk 9.x guide.

For Server Administrators (i.e. clients with their own VPS or Dedicated Server), again look under the ?General? tab.  If you have three options (?Desktop?, ?Clients? & ?Domains?) then you need to follow the Plesk 8.x guide.  If you don?t have a ?General? tab at all ? follow the Plesk 9.x guide!
