General Update

As it has been a while since we updated the news section of the Hosting area, I thought I’d add a few words about what we’ve been up to recently.

First of all a huge thank you to all of you who were kind enough to send in Testimonials and allow us to use them on our site.  We have a nice new Testimonials page and it’s really pleasing to be able to ‘show off’ how happy you are with the work we put in to the Hosting we give you - it’s very much appreciated, thanks!

We’ve also spent a bit of time looking at our Affiliate system.  All new accounts are signed up with an Affiliate account that you can use if you want, and anybody wanting to sign up to it can follow this link to sign up.  We’ve added some nice new banners, too, that you can view from your client area, and with 40% commission on all initial Shared Hosting sales through your scheme, it’s something you may well be interested in.

On top of this, we’re edging closer to a substantial upgrade to the hardware set up for all our Hosting.  We’re not committed to a time frame as yet - it will be very much done when it is done! - but it will increase the performance of all our Shared Hosting, and will allow us to launch VPS (Virtual Private Server) Hosting for those of you that need more performance for your site but can’t afford (or don’t want) a Dedicated Server.

And, finally, the deadline for the Freshest: Digital Awards 2008 is fast approaching… we’ve entered our Web Hosting in the awards, and fingers crossed, we’ll have some very good news soon!
