It’s been a long time since we’ve updated the news on the site – though that’s just been because we’ve been so busy!

We’ve recently been verified as an Approved Supplier for the BBC!  If you browse to this link then you can see us listed on the BBC Future Media: Approved Supplier list – it’s always nice to be approved!

We’ve very nearly finished what has amounted to a lengthy and careful migration onto a new hosting platform for all of our shared hosting clients.  This move has been in the pipeline since late last year and now that we’re all but done we have to say that the end result has been entirely worth it.  Now that all shared customers will be on a standardised, modern, fast platform, we have a really good base to build on for the future, despite all the current doom and gloom.  The new VPS hosting has proven to be a quality addition to our portfolio of hosting services, and is proving incredibly popular; so we can now offer a full range of hosting with a clear upgrade path that we can manage throughout.

We’re also enjoying our partnership with Interspire at the moment, who are constantly expanding and refining their range of online software.  Their rather excellent Shopping Cart software has a major update looming that promises to make it better than ever – particularly considering the quality of the new release of their Web Publisher content management system.  And let’s not forget Magento, Open Source and going from strength to strength with every successive update.  We’ve particularly found that our VPS has meant that we can provide the power a live Magento store demands without the financial commitment of going all the way to a Dedicated Server.
