SHS International

The Brief: Danone-owned SHS International asked us to develop a people-friendly online information centre for parents, patients, carers and healthcare professionals. The site was to provide quick access to the company’s products, to consumer information including detailed profiles of a huge range of metabolic conditions, white papers and abstracts through a search engine style interface. Not satisfied with merely providing information, SHS wanted us to build a site that would spark the growth of an online community that encouraged, nay embodied, information sharing between patients and healthcare professionals alike.

The Result: On the surface, visitors are presented a rich source of information for patients and healthcare professionals, with information easy to find through the site’s powerful search tool. Forums for patients and healthcare professionals to interact. An events calendar with HCP events for the conditions SHS’s products deal with. All encased in a cool, clean design. Behind the scenes: an easy to use, centralised content management platform which allows SHS to control and update every section of the site. The platform is designed with future sites in mind, and already supports SHS’s other site, lowproteinliving.co.uk which draws from the same centralised database as the main SHS site for product, condition and white paper information.
