Health and Safety Policy

The Directors of NuFuture Ltd are committed to ensuring, so far as is reasonably practicable the health, safety and welfare at work of all employees and free-lance workers by:

  • providing (where their responsibility to do so), maintaining (where their responsibility to do so) and encouraging safe equipment and work systems
  • providing (where their responsibility to do so), and encouraging safe arrangements for the use, handling, storage, transport, and disposal of articles and substances
  • supplying the information, instruction, training and supervision appropriate to ensure health and safety
  • providing (where their responsibility to do so), and maintaining (where their responsibility to do so), and encouraging a safe working environment
  • consulting, as necessary, with employees and free-lance workers on matters concerning their health, safety and welfare

No person shall intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of health, safety and welfare and required by any of the relevant statutory provisions.

To achieve the above, the full co-operation of all employees and free-lance workers and their involvement in health and safety matters is required.

This health and safety policy will be reviewed whenever significant changes occur in the profile of the business and from time to time.

Training

All workers will be given appropriate instruction in health and safety as it relates to their job and their general responsibilities.

Responsibilities

The Directors will ensure that all workers are fully conversant with their individual and collective duties in respect of health and safety.

Legislation

The Directors will seek to comply with statutes, regulations and codes of practice as they apply to the business.

Environment

The Directors will seek to achieve and maintain working conditions that are consistent with its environmental responsibilities and will review at regular intervals the effects of production activities on the local community.

Equipment

The Directors will ensure that all equipment in their control is maintained in safe working order, correctly guarded and electrically secure to normal domestic standards (i.e. not necessarily industrial standards). They will prevent the use of any equipment that is faulty or suspected of being faulty.

Substances

The Directors will ensure to the best of their ability that only known safe substances are used.

Records

The Directors will keep proper records of all accidents and incidents that occur. Written risk assessments are available to employees, free-lance workers and relevant interested parties and visitors on request, In addition, the Directors undertake to consider and sensibly respond to all ideas, comments and reports relating to health and safety issues.
