In September, Nublue exhibited at eCommerce Expo in London’s Olympia with their partners, eCommerce platform Shopware. The largest event of its kind in the UK, eCommerce Expo was the must-attend show for all involved in B2B and B2C eCommerce.

The 2 day event, which ran 25th-26th September, hosted 12 conference theatres and over 250 sessions across three shows discussing everything from customer experience and engagement to omnichannel designs.

Senior Business Development Executive Katherine Bell attended the show talks about her summary of events:

A new venture for Nublue, taking the opportunity to join our partner Shopware – the eCommerce platform from Germany – on their stand last week at London’s Olympia. For the last 5 years I have been a visitor at eCommerce Expo and for me it is the best in the eCommerce calendar with a very large audience (reportedly 15,000!), over 200 exhibitors from all walks of the eCommerce ecosystem and over 200 hours of content provided by 300+ speakers. It is such a great event for all involved in eCommerce which is also easily accessible in central London.

I was proud to be part of the Nublue team present on the Shopware stand along with our Managing Director Mike Ashworth and two of our colleagues Tim Edwards and Ian Cassidy from our sister agency CTI Digital. We spent 2 days meeting new prospects, talking about Shopware and explaining how Nublue can help retailers grow their online business.

The first day was very busy and thanks to our excellent position, both within the hall on the main thoroughfare and also on the Shopware stand itself, we met a large number of retailers (including a couple of household names) who we hope to work with in the future. Shopware’s Vincenzo Pollicino gave a talk about Headless eCommerce and Shopware 6 on day 1 which was really well attended, the entire programme of talks is a big draw to the event and featured a host of well known international brands and innovative start ups. The second day was marginally quieter (as is usually the case at most shows of this type) however we nevertheless met a good number of prospects who wanted to learn more about Shopware as a platform and how we can best help them to work with it. It was great to catch up with several partners to find out what’s new and to update them on the new CTI Nublue relationship and offering.

Shopware has a great team of multilingual experts and is easy to work with, demos are freely offered and the whole team was always on hand with a coffee, advice or a smile to keep us going – a real pleasure to work with Heike, Max and the team!
