What’s the best way to contact you during office hours?

During our office hours you’re welcome to get in touch with us by phone, email or live chat to resolve any issues or queries with your hosting – whichever contact method works best for you.

Alternatively you could try our KnowledgeBase self-help section to see if there’s already information about your issue, and help on how to fix it.

What about out of hours?

Outside office hours we would recommend that you check our service status page on Twitter first, just to see whether we’re already working on the issue you’re experiencing. You can also try our KnowledgeBase to see if there’s information here that could help you take steps to resolve your issue.

If you can’t find the information you need, please email us and we’ll respond as soon as we can. Or, in case of emergencies, if you’re a managed or a dedicated hosting customer then we will have supplied you with an on-call number for urgent issues.

What’s the difference between a managed and unmanaged hosting account?

Managed hosting means that we monitor your web hosting for a range of potential issues and we’ll also ensure that your hosting is up to date.

Managed hosting is available on selected VPS hosting packages and comes as standard with our dedicated hosting. It also gives you a round-the-clock on-call number to notify us of emergency issues.

Can you give me support with my website’s content or functionality?

While we can provide you with expert support with regard to your Nublue web hosting and our web hosting products, please be aware that there are areas which are outside our responsibility. If you need support with your website’s content or functionality, for instance, then this is still your responsibility – but we’ll be happy to put you in touch with our digital agency if you’d like to discuss any web design or development work.

We will help as best we can with every support request we receive, but please note that we aren’t directly responsible for providing advice and support beyond our area of expertise in web hosting – and what we will and won’t do will be influenced by this.
